About Me
Hi, I'm Aspen — the founder of The Aspen Rhizome.
I'm a systems and workflow designer with a background in building operational infrastructure for nonprofits and small businesses. I'm a certified Airtable Builder and Administrator, and I currently serve as Solutions & Systems Designer for a Sarasota-based nonprofit, where I built and maintain their entire Airtable ecosystem — scheduling, training, registration, and reporting systems that run their programs day to day.
Outside of client work, I'm a photographer and a lifelong systems thinker. I believe good tools should disappear into the background so you can focus on the work that actually matters.
I started The Aspen Rhizome to bring that same clarity to small businesses and creative entrepreneurs ready to stop running their business out of their inbox.
My Work

As sole technical lead on a foundation-funded initiative for a Sarasota nonprofit, I designed integrated Airtable systems — facilitator scheduling, volunteer training, client registration, post-session surveys, and a community dashboard — that now run their core programs.
For creative entrepreneurs, I built the Creative Business OS: an Airtable template that handles client tracking, project pipelines, invoicing, and content planning in one connected workspace.
I also take on custom projects — workflow audits, Airtable builds, website design, and branded photography for small businesses ready to look and run like the polished operation they are.
